I never tried a hot dog. I did try the bagels and pizza. The pizza was ok .... I prefer pizza express ones over here. But the bagels are so amazing.
I would love to see the west coast USA. I just don't feel it's very do-able without driving (oh and money lol). I would need to control my speeding problem first, then deal with driving on the wrong side of the road... This is why NY would always be the option for me if I was on my own.

Okay I found out that I can only be there for 3 months before they want you out of the country. I don't think I wanna work there then...just travel a bit around! I still think LA is the place I wanna stay longest.
Laymedown - I love london! I wanna some traveling when I get home from America in Europe and I think I will visit my friend in london at that time.
The car thing might be a problem. Maybe I should get a drivers license before I leave, but its so expensive and since no one in my family owns a car I don't see how I could use it at home in the near future

To be honest, I'm not sure you're old enough to rent a car! If you do LA, I am sure you can get a bus or train to San Diego and San Francisco.... For some seediness you could fly out to Las Vegas but then take a trip out to the Grand Canyon to see a more 'natural' side of the US. You still have to do NY though...

Car rental is either 21 or 25 years of age. Vegas gambling is 21 This is why the UK is great, everything is 18 ;D I highly recommend getting a driving license. I'm doing it at the moment even though we have no car. As soon as I get that stupid piece of plastic though I'm going to go out and get a car ;D

AUSTRALIA!!!! 18 is our legal drinking age. There are always lots of backpackers. Backpackers hostels are pretty cheap, plus if you might meet some like minded people you could travel with them. Great weather. Friendly people. I am not sure about work visa's but I know alot do seasonal farm work and most importantly ME

The spiders, the snakes and those Koala's aren't so cute and cuddly I thought it was after your summer, not that it matters our winter is probably like your Autum. No parade raining offence taken, it iis a pretty big place so I might not even see Simon

I beg to differ! The best hot dogs are in Fenway Park in Boston! And the best pizza is at a tiny little place in Jamaica Plain (Boston) called Same Old Place Pizza. Simon, if you go to Boston you will love it! I grew up in Massachusetts. I can tell you all the best places to go there There are amtracks to NY but they take a few hours so you really couldn't make it a day trip. You'd have to at least spend the night. Both Boston and NY are great for public transportation or going on foot. But I think it all really depends on what you want to do, what you want to see and where YOU want to go. Although, having Kate for a tour guide would totally rock
