Listened through the new album once now.....I am sooo bummed to say I'm a teeny little disappointed. Must give it more time though, it could very well grow on me. It's quite a difficult task to top their last two albums, "Plans" or "Transatlanticism". Death Cab still rocks though!!

Am I the only one who had never heard of them until Trevor mentioned them?
I went on their myspace page and realised that they have a ridiculous number of friends.

Am I the only one who had never heard of them until Trevor mentioned them? I went on their myspace page and realised that they have a ridiculous number of friends. They have been pretty successful in the U.S. indie/underground scene for quite a few years now. Their last album marked their debut at a major label (continued with this new one), so they have been getting a little more attention. Though I must applaud their ability to keep their "indie" sound in tact while at a major label. That can be tough to do these days....
