The road is not! ahhh that sounds better! I was thinking what a way to kill off your customers, they walk out the bar and boom, off the cliff.

You're right, Sharie - who in their right mind would put a bar near a cliff!!! Sounds like they are asking for trouble!!!! My new job is great. It's a small firm. There are 5 attorneys. We do general practice. A little bit of everything. I'm really enjoying it.

That is great Jillian are you leaning towards any particular area as a favourite? Some how Kate I am not surprised that you pull good pints, not sure why. My Dad is soooo fussy about how his pints are pulled... it just came ever so naturally ;D I just went and posted in 'the bar' thread... I'd completely forgotten I'd written about it in here last night! Several customers knew it was my first night, mainly cos they were asking something I didn't have a clue about (making a tab, making coffee- its a posh machine! and paying by card) but I learnt everything first time shown (though I didn't realise you had to turn the coffee off once the cup was full I thought it would stop automaitcally... it didn't whoops! One guy kept watching me all night and kept asking how my first night was going... at the end he asked me if I ever worked in the theatre I said 'uhhhh no!' and he just looked at me and said I should be! I'm wasted here! Anywho... next working Tues and Weds nights. I need to think about how much I want to work. The concept hadn't even entered my head til Thursday night i.e. the 'fun job' concept. I've known I'll go back to a career at some point, once I'd decided what the heck to do.... I've been retired for 18 months now, and as long as I still get to travel then I don't mind doing this - it was so much fun! AND it pays for my travels too... I think! My share of the tips last night was £13 ($26). I have no idea if that's good or bad, but it'll buy me more over the pond than here so I'm saving it!
