Sara was on the radio here in Atlanta last week and she told the story behind "Love Song" -- it was very cool.
Apparently, she submitted some songs to the record label and they were like, yea, you have a good voice, but so do a lot of people, we would like to hear a really good love song from you.
So, then she wrote "Love Song" basically saying I'm not going to write you a love song just because you want me too. LOL!!! ;D ;D ;D
They loved the song and Sony signed her. I think it's brilliant!

I'm not going to write you a love song, cause you ask for it, cause you need one...you see... ha haa haa! It does make sense now!! Sweet! Hi Jilly!

They've started playing another song of hers here. It's really good and I'm glad because they really have played out Love Song.

Oh you'll love her Sabine!!!
The amazing thing for me is I've been playing her a lot in the pub and I'm amazed that all the young people know of her!
She's doing really well in the UK!

OMG!!! The last 24 hours have been a such a roller coaster but boy they were worth it!!! The back ground story ...... Javier wrote on his myspace status "Australiabound" so I sent him a message asking if there was going to be concert I could go to because there was nothing listed on his or Sara's site. I heard nothing back but that was ok, he is a busy boy ...... that is until yesterday at 9 am where he sent me a message saying they are doing their one and only gig in Sydney tonight with Newton Faulkner and that he could probably get me on the list My mind was racing how who when, (at this point I would just like to say my friends suck, well they don't but none of them would drop everything to come with me and one was already in Sydney ) So after much searching and talking I dragged my hubby off at 2pm to make the gig at 8.30pm with just one problem ......... I hadn't got a confirmation back from Javi, so we were going on a wing and a prayer. The closer we got to Sydney the more nervous I got then at about 6 pm I got a message from Javi saying sorry for the late response but could I still make it. PHEW!!! Oh and Chris ..... I HAVE JAVIER'S MOBILE NUMBER We arrived in at about 8 pm and got my free tickets to a sold out concert, I felt special ;D They came on about 8.30pm and were as wonderful as ever, there is now a bass player in the mix which really gave an extra punch to the live sound. Song list was Bottle It Up, Morning Side, Many The Miles, Love Song, a cover that I can not remember the name of and Gravity ...... I think. Fantastic!!! Sara's voice is so strong yet tender and very touching. I was hoping that they would come out after the set but I had a look around and could not see them so I didn't get the chance to catch up with Sara or Javi I will write about mister Newton in his thread. We headed home after the gig, which was a combination of hubby driving, sleeping, then me driving I have some sunrise pics to post and I am now running on coffee and chocolate but now that I have sat down I am sure I am going to crash soon. Side note: BBOP + Driving = Speeding

Oh Stupid me read the wrong thread first!!!! Way to go you rock chick you!!! It sounds utterly fantastic and spontaneous which in itself is fantastic!!! ;D I'm a bit worried by the: I'd much prefer I can't help imagining him snoozing and driving! And yes.. BBOP keeps you awake but not within the speed limits - at least you didn't play Mystified... have you found you close your eyes when you sing it?!?!
