HEY LOOK! It's another new kid going to attempt jumping in here.
Generally, I fail at forums. Even things like online reading groups (Harry Potterhead hardcore) elude me.
I'm a high schooler from Seattle. Rep' Northwest! There seems to be a TON of UKers on here. Or maybe in my browsing I missed all the folks stateside.
I love music. I'm here now because of Billy Boy On Poison, who I fell in love with after seeing them in Teen Vogue last year. I've been literally addicted ever since. Aside from that, I'll listen to anything. Really, anything.
I also dance (raqs sharqi!) and write (made the school paper for next year!). I obsess over Harry Potter and schoolwork. I try try try my hardest, but still...
...don't expect me to be around here all the time. Just 'cause forum communities are so intimidating...

WELCOME!!!
I love new members.
I've just been forced to listen to BBOP and I love 'em!! So nice to see a member join because of them .. it's wonderful actually.
Can I please convert you to RDB please .. if you haven't already heard the wonders that is them ... although we need to get the videos moved over here, as it would be helpful!!!
There are quite a few UKers dont worry though when everyone is back you'll find that Americans outway us .. then you have the Aussie, the turk and the lovely Norwegian elf ;D

Wheeee! BillyBOP owns my soul, in all honesty. I'd love to listen to RDB though! I can find them on MySpace, right? 'Cause no, I've never heard them before. Although I guess if they're on Ironworks they've got to pretty fabulous. Hehe.
The wonders of the internet! Well I don't mind the overseas friends. It's pretty sweet, actually. LET'S MAKE AWESOME MUSIC A WORLDWIDE PHENOMENON!

I like. Wouldn't go so far as love, as they've got a bit of a country feel that I'm not so into, and the singer's voice has that nasally whine that some people love and others hate. Not bad at all, though. Really excellent cohesion among all the different pieces, and the lyrics are interesting. They'll definitely have my ear from now on. If you can't tell, I'm liking them more and more as I write this. Haha.
And thank you Kate! I'm already feeling better about this. :]

Good to hear!!! I have to say to you what everyone said to me when I first listened to Rocco DeLuca and the Burden.... 'YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM LIVE!' And they were bloody right too! ;D

Yaaaaay glad you are liking them. They have that effect where you fall in love. LOLOL I'm amazed you think they sound countryish - it is impressive what some people can here.
Rocco likes to think he's more blues/rock/folk/gospel inspired.
Totally agree with Kate about the live. I mean no doubt it's like BBOP in that they rock live ;D
