damn. I trust you to kill me was good...but this is just epic. I f**king love this album.
1 - Mercy: damn. This song is the perfect start. Keane wasn't needed on this song...but the last chorus just hits me everytime. The song is amazing...
2 - I trust you to kill me. This song is dirty as f**k! I thought he would have called it something else, but its still amazing.
3 - The painting. It sort of reminds me of a mixture between I trust you and Mercy. The production is siiiick! and the lyrics are perfect...what a great nr 3 track.
4 - Open pages. Everybody loves this track. And so do I. Its not as dark as the rest of the record but its amazing and Rocco sounds so f**king perfect. I want to be open pages to Rocco! (ifff you know what I mean)
5 - Nightingale. This is my favorite so far. Its amazing. I was afraid the production was going to rape it but it didn't at all. I am going to get some of the lyrics tattooed. Seriously. and a nightingale!!
6- Save yourself. God this is badass. After a hard day at work, when you feel like killing someone this is the sh*t to scream to. This is orgasmic!
7 - Any man. Its great. Holy sh*t. The song just keeps adding stuff. Sounds like Rocco wants to kill you. Which turns me on. Like this!
8 - Lilja. This is what I think Rocco is about. Epic beginning. Epic song. It sounds dark and evil...
9 - Bright lights (losing control). The long intro doesn't matter. The track just keeps you listening. Its evil! its amazing. I f**king love this.
10 - Junky valentine. I love this....Rocco really loves this track. I can tell. The lyrics are personal. Its heartbreaking. I love it ....
11 - When you learn to sing. Who thought this would work? only Rocco can make it work...made me feel better about a bad situation. And thats enough for me to worship it.
The record is the sh*t. So much better than the first one...damn...its amazing.
Drunk review out.

I have always been a hard core heavy metal lover.. But I have to say that 'when you learn to sing' has got me hooked. I love everything about this song and it's mesmerizing.

seacow your review is the sh*t! ;D love it. I don't know all the songs yet, still waiting for the CD to arrive, but "Junky Valentine" is my favorite so far re the music, especially the Jeff Buckley sound I hear, and the "waltz rhythm". The lyrics are haunting as well. Also LOVE "Mercy".

I'm going to reserve judgment until hearing the whole album, but so far .... I *really* don't like Open Pages. I don't like Junky Valentine. I don't like Mercy. I don't love Save Yourself but I also don't hate it. I'm somewhere between the liking and loving it. I've always loved Nightingale. I'm really hoping that the rest of the album does it for me so that I don't have to say I'm disappointed

hey laymedown. The new material is a bit harder to get into than the old stuff. The songs are longer and with melodies that take time to get use to. I think you should give it a few listens anyway...
